Every time I see Stu, someone thinks to introduce him to me. Of course, I’ve known Stu for years now. But that doesn’t prevent me from redoing the following conversation EVERY TIME. He loves it.

“Hey Brian, do you know Stu?”

“Of course, I know Stu. I think I saw Blackbelt once or twice back in the day …”

Forget dropping Reach The Sky references, it’s all about Blackbelt.

As for this shirt, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Blackbelt tee. I know they are out there, but I’ve only ever seen this one. Anyone got a Backbone tee they want to hook me up with?

Here is an interesting one for you youth crew collectors. You can find the standard BOLD shirt in a variety of colors. One of the best is the black shirt with white ink.

What is stated here in this auction is “one of a kind” and “misprint”. One of these items is true. Yes, this item is one of a kind because someone tailored this to a small. Seriously? Suck it up and wear it baggy. Layer up. Tuck it in. Do your part.

On to the misprint part. I have owned about 5 of these through the years, and the fronts have always faded to gray. Some more, some less, but always gray. I don’t think the seller is trying to mislead in any way. Seems to be more the case that these do not show up for sale very often.

The first 2 pictures are of the ebay item for sale, and the last 2 are the same style shirt from my collection. This shirt seems to be legit to me, just small, and not one of a kind.

Last winter, I was shoveling off my driveway after a super heavy storm. I noticed my next door neighbor was out shoveling her driveway too. Normally, her husband plows the whole thing in a few seconds, but he was away on travel. So that left her shoveling while the kids kept moshing through her snowbanks. I went over to lend a hand since my driveway was already finished. I also noticed she was wearing headphones and hadn’t really seen me nearby. I definitely didn’t want to spook her. Finally, she looked up.

“Oh, sorry about that. I’m listening to Dane Cook and zoned out.”

“…”

“He’s so funny. Don’t you think he’s the BEST?”

” … Uh … he sure is something …”
