I found another “Hardcore Starter Kit.” This one is for the Gorilla Biscuit fan (actually, peeping some of the other auctions, there is some dope stuff in there: Underdog EP on blue, Brotherhood LP on purple, … Shit, some good stuff). You can pretty much get everything you need with this lot. LP, EP, some CDs, a few tees (one is even sleeveless for those HOT summer days) and a long sleeve (for those chill summer nights, I’m sure). I say starter kit, but in reality, it has a few choice items. That Walter Sings The Hits cd always seems to fetch a few clams. And the shirts are not ridiculous designs.

Killing Time – Long sleeve

Killing Time started out on top of the world. Their original name was Raw Deal. And that name helped spawn some AMAZING tees. Think about it. Have you ever seen a bad & legit Raw Deal tee? I’ll answer that for you. No, you never have. Then the name change. The “Just Another Raw Deal” long sleeve maintained that excellent gear outlook. Then things started to go. I blame the mid 90s. For instance, this long sleeve.

It’s a Killing Time tee so it already gets a nod of approval from me. It’s not my favorite design, but it’s certainly not the worst design (what’s up with that weird playing card KT tee??). As far as the design goes, the 3 dimensional silhouette is just WEIRD. How does a shadow get more than 2 dimensions? And the flowers are a little over the top. What’s HARD about roses? It also has the 90s every-print-must-be-giant vibe going on. I realize this has resurfaced in the last few years, but something about these big designs just feels dated.

Regardless, someone is going to get a pretty sweet deal on this, I bet.

Cold World – Mars Blackmon Tee

Cold World and Lockin Out Records dropped these shirts on kids at the last Posi Numbers. When Cold World showed up, kids started following them and their boxes all over the venues. They didn’t even get a chance to OPEN the boxes before kids started asking about sizes. When this shirt came out of the box, I thought kids were going to start punching each other in the dicks just to be the first to get one. It felt like a mini riot; there may have been trampling involved.

Of course, the vibe and image is pure Nike Jordan. From the Mars Blackmon image to the color choices. You throw this on, grab your AJ1s and go hit the court. Steb will meet you there, and he’ll probably school your ass, but at least you’ll look good.

Does anyone else feel stinky about these auctions? First it was pulled early, then it was put back up with a $75 BIN, and now it’s back again. Do you think it will go the distance this time? RighteousRonnie may just want to get a reserve next time. If you have any more detailed info, hit me up.
