Wow. Now this is pretty interesting. What you see here is the original artwork by Chris Thompson (an artist and tattoo artist from Seattle WA) for a piece that was used in the layout for the Sunny Day Real Estate album How It Feels To Be Something On.

What’s strange are the inaccuracies in the post, possibly due to the naivete of the seller.

  • The album is listed as How Does It Feel To Be Something On
  • The seller says it was used for cover art for the CD and LP. We all know that’s not the case.
  • The seller tried to sell it a few months back with a BIN of $10k. No bidders.
  • The seller claims SDRE are the “fathers of emo.” OOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Pretty cool overall. If I had the wall space and some extra clams, I’d pick it up.

Ignite Conversion Records shirt

True story, I was being a typical hardcore idiot with a friend of mine at an Ignite show and tried to kick him in the balls. I missed. I did however hit a girl who I ended up marrying some time later.

That’s the effect Ignite has on people. Bringing the kids together is what Ignite is all about. I think.

One Life Crew shirt

One Life Crew was/is one of the bands people loved or hated. They said what they wanted, no matter what the end result would be. This shirt sums them up nicely.

I think the seller is a little optimistic on the start price, especially with the cool half fade going on, but hey, this shirt would look right at home at your favorite NASCAR event.
