Outspoken – Straight Edge Isn’t Cool Anymore Tee

Here we have a cool 2nd pressing of the Outspoken “Straight Edge Isn’t Cool Anymore … So What.” tee. You can tell it’s a reprint based on the unarched Outspoken logo on the back. When the band first printed them, they used an arched logo. Later, New Age Records would reprint the tee with a flat logo. Well worth the reprint for a cool design.

Against The Wall – Hardcore Graphix Tee

A 4 sided Hardcore Graphix tee is usually a holy grail of tee-dom. You barely ever see any, and when you do, they generally disappear fast. Someone always comes in and snatches them up before you can even see it. This doesn’t appear to be the case with this Against The Wall tee. I think the seller is shooting himself in the foot by having the opening bid be $150. That’s just ridiculous. Set a reserve but at least start lower and get some action on the tee. Otherwise, it’ll just linger for those 7 days and probably require relisting.

Despite all of that, still a great looking tee. If this was an Insted hardcore graphix tee, I bet it would have been removed from ebay 5 days ago. Good luck to the seller.

WTF? Deathcore Lot

This ebay item is a lesson in How Not To Make Any Money.

The item is just littered with irony. It’s a lot of random metalcore merch. I’m not sure who the bands are, but I know it doesn’t matter. The lot includes: 1 hood, 1 crewneck, 30+ size small tees. First point of irony: the BIN price is $50. Do the math. One hood + one crewneck + 30 shirts = $350. These shirts aren’t that old so I’m sure homeboy bought them all within the last year. Second point of irony: shipping is listed at $20. Now, for more math. I’d estimate, conservatively, that this package will weigh in at 16 pounds. If he gets suckered into paying for priority shipping, he’ll probably end up spending at least $30 on shipping.

So kid looks to stack $40 for something that cost him at least $350. Final kicker?

My brother lost his job and he wants me to put a bunch of his “metalcore and deathcore” shirts on eBay

Sounds like the seller is punking his brother hard. Ouch.

NOFX – Tour 87 Tee

Back when you were playing with lincoln logs and GI Joes, NOFX were touring America selling EPs and being hard ass punks. You were inside sipping hot cocoa after a long day of sledding while they were pogoing and moshing all over the United States of America. This particular tee was purchased (or likely given freely) at the Anthrax in Connecticut. This was definitely before my time. I was that kid who had just scraped the hell out of my knees on his BMX bike while these dudes were talking about Six Pack Girls.

Dumb if you don’t get this great tour tee. Jim And Tammy Bakker Fund Raising Tour 1987. Or If We Don’t Sell All Our Singles, God Will Kill Us. And as Casali would say, this shirt as provenance.
