Real Bands Don’t Die.

Seller chainxcrew says:

I don’t know much about this shirt but I’m sure Chris at TTD can shed some light! REAL BANDS DON’T DIE!

The story behind the shirt is pretty eazy to tell. We did one West Coast TWS show, in March of 2006 at Chain Reaction in Anaheim. Since it was a Cali show, we made 100 or so N.W.A. “efiL4saggiN/Real Niggas Don’t Die” rip off tees (the Real Niggas rip is on the back, check the auction for the pic), along with a handful of crewnecks. The show was with L.I.O.N. and More to Pride (I think it may have been their first last show), and maybe Piece by Piece as well. There were multiple angles filmed of all the sets, but all I’ve ever seen of ours was a 30 second snippet of War of Words that used to be on youtube. It’s gone now, but the user who had it up still has the L.I.O.N. Crew intro up…

TWS line up for the show was me, DFJ, Martin on guitar, and Foster on bass. We intro’d with the beginning of Life of Agony’s This Time. If any one has any pictures from that gig, or even one angle of the video, holler at me in the comments.

Go Back To 1987 And Stay There.

Here on TTD, Casali and I often end up trying to write up the same auction at almost the exact same time. And usually we end up arguing back and forth over whose claim precedes whose. But in the case of this 1987 Youth of Today tee being sold by eatbiggetbig2010 (great user name, btw), we’re actually arguing over who gets to sit out. Because neither of us dig this tee.

Blah. Just a boring, boring tee. Totally lame design, it looks like a bargain bin bootleg. I also am holding the hideous Break Down The Walls remix artwork against this tee, because I’m pretty sure it’s the same live shot. Not to mention the fact that 200 bucks is a pretty high start for a tee that looks to be just a fade or two away from being in the condition of the Inside Out and Chain of Strength tees we saw last week…

We’ll bring you some of this seller’s other auctions later on, as he does have some stuff we like up for sale. It’s just this one tee… we can’t get down.

…cuz I’m Pretty Sure She’s A LOC Fan.

Disclaimer: This post would work so much better if I could find the original “…cuz I’m pretty sure she’s a LOC fan” picture.

I wonder if these LOC booty shorts are the same pair that Casali snuck away from his wife and put up for grabs(EDIT: No they are not). last April. Sure looks that way to me. I was married once myself, and I too made sure to get my wife a pair during the merch melee at Posi Numbers, and hers were seldom worn as well. Perhaps booty shorts are a better gift for your girlfriend then your wife. I wish I had thought to grab them back when we divorced… guess that’s my bad. Anyways, I hope this doesn’t mean that aqua_lamb isn’t a LOC fan anymore…

I’m pretty sure she’s a Marc Jacobs fan tho…

edit: Thanks Age.
