How metal are you? If you are down, then you know about ShirtChaser. This forum is chalk full of metal heads who love their tees. It’ll blow you mind what some of these folks have. The guy behind it all, s.o.d666, has 50 items up on ebay now. He has diapers to buy, apparently. Good for us because he’s got GEMS.

My co-workers wife is an old metal head. She was telling me stories about seeing Metallica at the Rat back in the day. I wonder if it was on this tour? I’m guessing she saw them the next year at the Channel. That’s my guess.

I didn’t wait 13 days to post this Anthrax tee from the longsleeves up for auction, and knew that I’d have to save it for Metal Monday. I don’t think I’ve ever had a Metal Monday without an Anthrax tee, quite frankly, so thankfully this still has a day and half left so that I don’t have to make an exception.

Besides this shirt looking like an iron on/heat transfer I back this thing hard. I dont see this particular design that often either. Usually there is a pocket print and a back print. This has a dope front print and TTDs favorite sleeve print! I have been know to go on some Shelter kicks for months at a time. Good jams and good memories of gigs. For me the most memorable was seeing them at places like the Tune Inn, sports palace and Studio 158 in CT. The Tune Inn shows were incredible to a young show goer. Chanting before the set in the crowd, people going ape shit during the set, guitars being stolen(i saw who did it), 108 opening,etc.. and then I remember seeing them later at studio 158 and the entire crowd was sitting on the ground infront of the stage. I dont remember the circumstance of that but I remember being confused and bummed out.

411 – this isnt me

Another Dan O. band. I never really listened to this band. I have picked up the 7” with the vans on it almost everytime Ive seen it at a record store and mulled over it. I think its cause I felt too burned by the Carry Nation 7”. I had such high expectations when I bought that record. I was like “oh shit a Dan O band after NFAA, this is gonna be great” and I fucking hated it. Ok maybe I didnt hate it but I thought it was boring. Im sure there are dudes that love it but I am not one of those people. I havent heard it in years, maybe Ill like it now. Anyone got some MP3s they can throw up? While Im at it I should probably give 411 a listen. Who knows, they could be my next favorite band.(In reality I will probably start up itunes and just put on the new Jim Jones or Cam’ron and Vado record. I suck)
