Vegan Reich Hardline

This weekend is Worcester’s Veg Fest. I’ll be rolling through checking out the booths, hoping for some new free samples. Something I haven’t had before. We’ll see. Here’s what I’m guessing though. There won’t be one hardline table. That apparently went out in the 90s. Unless you are Neuva Etica, that is. But back in the day, one of the leaders of the vegan hardline movement was Vegan Reich. And when I say one of the forerunners, I mean, the actual forerunner. All you have to do is spin their EP Hardline (released on Hardline Records …) to see.

So put down your copy of Robert Cheeke’s Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness, and go grab this shirt from Andy Hurley (he played drums on a follow on EP), give him daps. Anyone know what’s going on with Sean Muttaqi these days? Still vegan? Still hardline?

Converge Japanese Red Cross benefit shirt

Our friends in Converge just posted up two great shirts for sale. The proceeds from these shirts will go directly to the Red Cross. Check out what they have to say, and click the pictures to grab a shirt in support.

“Japan has always been a second home for Converge. Friends that might as well be family, amazing shows, and incredible memories. So this is the least that the band can do to help the relief efforts in honor of their appreciation for the country, the people and their friends. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross on behalf of Converge and Kings Road.

*These shirts will be printed to order. They will be printed on Anvil 980 slimfit ringspun cotton shirts. These shirts will be sold until April 25th. They will then be unavailable, printed and they will ship during the week of May 2-6th.”

Agnostic Front???

Agnostic Front has made some of my all time favorite shirts. Shirts that had incredible drawings. Shirts that spoke of social unrest, uh, conflict of interest which in turmoil brings,uh ya know, controversy and ,uh, it speaks for itself. If someone wanted to hear NYHC for the first time I would give them a 90 min cassette tape of “Victim in Pain” on repeat. To me that is the perfect NYHC record. The right amount of hardcore and punk. Its just perfect to me. You can argue all you want but youd be wrong.
These shirts are from a different time and different place than Victim in Pain.
As much as newer AF is not my cup of tea – those dudes wrote VIP so they can do whatever they want! I will still see them everytime they come to town if I can.

And then there is this one. I dont know who approved this cover? 300 was a good movie/comic and all but I hate seeing this thing. Are AF dudes huge 300 heads?
Even if this record is your shit, I would not buy it from this seller as Im pretty sure they are not official shirts and infact Im pretty sure this pic is just a photoshop mock up.

DK – IGWT

People either love or hate the Dead Kennedys. Im in the love camp. Plastic Surgery Disasters is one of my all time favorite punk records. “Well Trained Scientist”?!? are kidding me? So good.
wyco_vintage says this is an 1981 shirt. Id say its from the 90s just judging from how the print looks and the sizing of it. It just looks 90s to me. I could be wrong. I have two “in god we trust” shirts from the 80s and you can definitely tell what era they are from without looking at the tag. This has a washed out tag so its a little harder to tell. Still not a bad shirt and with the way the price is going, im not the only one that thinks so.
