I think at this point in hardcore history, the LOC has become a world wide recognized symbol. And not only is it recognized, but it’s also coveted and desired. Shirts featuring this icon are highly prized and well regarded. This is telling of the infamy of Lockin Out and pick up a few releases.

Does anyone know seller jaakjensenpwn? I read a few of his auctions, and I was intrigued. Seems he’s selling tees to fund a non-profit business he’s starting. Either he’s pulling on my heart strings, or he’s tricking me into bidding on his auctions. I’d love to know more. If it’s a good cause non-profit, I suggest bidding big!

Two weeks back (give or take), the hardcore message boards went kerfluffle. Yes, exactly. Kerfluffle. Why, you ask? It seems Miley Cyrus was spotted wearing a Man Overboard tshirt. Some paparazzi took a picture of her hanging in the mall, or some place, in a man overboard tee. Now, if you are Brett Beach or Emil, I don’t expect you to know a) who Miley Cyrus is or b) who Man Overboard is. That’s fine. Those dudes are grandfathered into not knowing. All good. But for the rest of you with the pulse on youth movements, I expect you to know.
I actually saw Man Overboard for the first time a few months back with H2O. I had never seen them before, and honestly, it was awesome. Of course, I also got to shoot the shit with Greg Mongo so that helps. Do Man Overboard’s estore and grab some of their brand new merch. Do it, do it.
Any one who’s read an issue of the classic Hardware Fanzine should have at least a passing interest in these two being sold by inmyheadache. That zine was an all time classic.
He says one of these is an official reprint, which I had no idea they made, and the other… well, he doesn’t say. I’ll let you find out for yourself which is which.
