Night of the Metal Monday.

I bet you all thought we were sleeping on this week’s Metal Monday, but while that’s technically true (I did in fact sleep through most of the day, which is nuts since I went to bed at 9 last night. Being sick is crazy), we’re not about to let a Metal Monday pass us by. Especially not when seller’s like burnseraph bring us things we love, like say… sleeveless Black Sabbath crewnecks from 1983.

$50 is a heck of a BIN for 3/4 of a shirt, but I have to admit… I am sorely tempted. Maybe that’s the fever talking. Expect plenty more Metal Monday goodness between now and midnight, as my 20 hours or whatever it was of sleep obviously is gonna have me awake for awhile.

Drop Dead shirt

If your looking for a Drop Dead shirt, you don’t have much choice in designs. It’s going to be back and have a picture on it. I *think* I remember a white design, but you know how that goes. Ebay seller campytoo is showing some Rhode Island love with this one. Like I said, this shirt is pretty plain and simple. I think the DROP DEAD on the front really speaks for itself.

The Cure Kissing Tour shirt

In 1988 when the cool kids were listening to Terrence Trent Darby and Billy Ocean, The Cure had there most success in the American market. The had two mainstream songs off of “Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me” and embarked on a world tour. While you were attending a Cro-Mags show at CBGBs(RIP), ebay seller campytoo was watching The Cure. This shirt looks to be in decent condition, albeit a little thin. This one would fit in nicely in the hipster section of your closet.

That Didn’t Take Long — Free Spirit Winter 2011

soulvice88 didn’t waste any time getting this shirt out of the club and up onto ebay. Free Spirit played their first Cali gig on Thursday. And by Sunday night, it was on ebay. Bummer.

Regardless, great tshirt. Not sure of the artist, but I have a few guesses. The back is just out right awesome times. Definitely not Boston. Wish I could have seen these gigs. Must have been intense. #dougfree
