TTD – Supplying Maternity Dresses To Those In Need
I hate it when that happens. A few months back, at the Triple B Record Fest, I picked up this shirt for a friend of the site, Mr @CaseyDoom). I’m not sure if I’ve ever met this guy in real life, but we’ve talked over the years. Lots of shirt and record talk. We’ve even traded a few items (boy, I wish I had that Bold Tour 89 shirt back in my collection. Can’t believe I traded it after getting it. Sigh). When he told us he really wanted this Free Spirit tee, we were happy to get his back. But somewhere along the line, a communication gap developed. Casali told me size Large, and I delivered. Of course, it took us months to get the shirt to him, but that is beside the point. When it arrived, it apparently fit him like a “maternity dress.” DISS. Now I wish I had picked him up a medium when I saw Free Spirit over the weekend. His loss, your gain. This is the original colorway of this tee. The new ones have light blue or a darker blue ink. Very cool.

Why the breakup? OH MAN THIS IS A SAD ONE TO PART WITH. THIS SHIRT HASN’T FIT SINCE PROBABLY SINCE THE EARLY 90’s BUT I’VE HELD ONTO IT, IN MY CLOSET, FOR YEARS AND YEARS AS A TOKEN OF A GREAT TIME AND AN EVEN BETTER SCENE.
Shirt issues: THE SCREEN PRINTING ON THIS SHIRT IS EXCELLENT CONDITION. PLEASE SEE CLOSE UPS. THE PRINT REALLY HASN’T FADED OR CHECKERED, WHICH IS CRAZY TO EVEN CONCEIVE AS A CONCEPT — THIS IS A NYHC SHIRT THAT IS LIKE 20 YEARS OLD! HAHA.
I DO HAVE TO TELL YOU THERE IS SOME DISCOLORATION IN THE UNDERARMS AREA. WHAT I DID IS HOLD THE SHIRT UP TO THE LIGHT AND TAKE A PHOTO OF IT THAT WAY. I’M NOT SURE THIS EVEN MATTERS TO ANYONE BUT WE’RE HONEST PEOPLE AND WANT YOU TO SEE IT AS IF YOU WERE HERE HOLDING IT UP YOURSELF> Remainder of Shirt is very surprisingly white and great shape!!”
