Who Is Drew Ferry?
Seriously, who is Drew Ferry and what is comestolife talking about? “Bought it at this is hardcore 2009 but it has Drew Ferry’s name on it so I wont wear it.” That doesn’t even make sense. Why buy a shirt but never wear it? I don’t get it.
I caught The Rival Mob last night. Peanuts and Rival Mob. Good combo. After the gig, the dudes sweated it off the stage and hit outside. It was dumb hot in the Crane Room. I was near the merch table, saw some kids waiting to buy merch, but no one to buy it from. So I sold Rival Mob merch. Pretty amusing. That’s what core kids do. We help each other out. I can’t wait for the new longsleeve to hit ebay because I have a store of jokes lined up. I’m sure it’ll be soon enough. As long as people are buying shirts to not wear them, it’ll happen.
SOUNDGARDEN T-SHIRT CBGB Guitar Hero Promo shirt
Will some one tell me where the hell was I when this happened? I’m going to quote the seller because I know nothing about this item.
“Up for sale is this amazing limited edition T-Shirt from the secret Soundgarden show in Los Angeles on September 27, 2010. Soundgarden played the launch party for Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock, and only those few that were at the show received this shirt in a gift bag as they exited the show. Gift bags were VERY limited and they ran out. I would say only around half the people that attended received one. This is a true collectible for any Soundgarden fan. The show was amazing as well, as Soundgarden played for over an hour in a replica CBGB’s built on the Paramount Studios Lot in LA. This T-Shirt is brand spanking new and has never been worn. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even know it was in the gift bag until I got home tonight. It is a size LARGE. The shirt is black and is printed on both sides. The Guitar Hero logo is on the back, with the Soundgarden print on the front“.
I like everything about this shirt except the Guitar Hero and Activision logo’s. I would probably bid on this shirt but I need to know more about its authenticity. I just find it hard that I missed out. But I’m not sure if I’m cool with L.A. trying to recreate a CBGBS set. There will be only one and they let it go.
