One last Metal Monday tee from janvanderdam (I did mean to vary my sellers more, but I got caught up in artwork):
To be quite frank, I’m still caught up in artwork. So all I’m gonna say is, this shirt is inspiring, and then I’m going back to work.
Disengage – Wilkes-Barre Straight Edge
Oh man. I feel like an idiot. I traded away my Disengage shirt. So stupid. Great shirt, and I traded it away. Dumb move. You know what is not a dumb move? Claiming that Disengage is a straight edge band. The last time I claimed a Wilkes-Barre band was straight edge, a bunch of dudes jumped down my throat. My bad. But the giant X on the front of this shirt should clear me of any issues. Grab this one from Mr E. Wivell. You know it’ll be coming from a good home. Good dude.
If you haven’t heard Disengage, do yourself a favor and go listen to them. You will not be disappointed. And make sure to pick up the EP too.
The Metal Mash Up Shirt.
Another Metal Monday tee from janvanderdam, and this is much more along the lines of the metal merch I know and love than that batch of Maiden shirts…
Gotta love the Mash Up shirt, where all the bands on a tour share the tee. You still occasionally see it when a couple big names get together for a tour, but it’s a concept that was always best served it’s heyday as a pre-70’s/80’s metal concert staple. And it helps that the metal tours almost always had some epic name like MONSTERS OF METAL or CLASH OF THE TITANS.
