Cold As Life

Whenever I think of Cold As Life, I get that Madball lyric stuck in my head. It’s weird. I don’t think of Cold As Life lyrics, just the Madball lyric. Harder Than You! This band was a real pre-cursor to modern day HARD hardcore bands. It’s crazy to think Cold As Life started in 1988. So crazy. Not the least bit Youth Crew. I guess Detroit just doesn’t roll like that.

(Thanks for the tip, fukui-san!!!)

It’s Sunday Night and I have some classic Buy It Nows for you

If these shirts being sold by lunamoon999 don’t get you excited, I don’t know how to help you. Theses shirts all appear original, and all have a story along with them. This might be a great time to spend a little cash to put one of these gems in your closet.

Wishingwell Records shirt

It looks like loop88 is going to continue to make it easy for me. I love this.

“Here is your chance to win an OG WishingWell Records logo shirt size XL (fits like a Large) that was made in the late 80’s on Screen Star T-shirt brand. Original (not a bootleg) shirt is in amazing shape for being 21+ years old and the print is still intact with very light cracking.

Wishing Well Records Logo Tee=In 93’ or 94’, Pat Dubar had random boxes of WishingWell tee’s laying around and gave the merch to my friend Dave to sell on the Ignite tour for $10 a shirt if I remember correctly and to little old Igby to get rid of at Zeds records (Which Big Frank ran from Carry Nation). This shirt is from those box’s and the print on this shirt is still in amazing shape. This is a screen star shirt and very hard to find nowadays, the strange thing is there is not a logo printed on the sleeve, someone got to lazy to print it on there? Anyways, this is a true classic from one of OC hardcore’s finest Labels!! “

Moondog shirt

I’m gonna let loop88 do the talking on this one. This would be an interesting one to have in your closet.

“Here is your chance to win a cool MOONDOG shirt size L that was made in the early 90’s(BASICALLY ONE OF A KIND SHIRT). The print is in great condition for being 15+ years old…….the shirt itself has a couple of really light specks of rust type spots, 2 pin holes in the lower back and light smudge that isn’t too noticeable in the lower front being X’ed up…

Moondog shirt=I love Moondog and Quicksand to no end, so when I saw this shirt, I was blown away. I’m pretty sure they played a few shows under Moondog before they changed their name to Quicksand, so for the longest time I thought they sold this at a show. I got this from Tim M. through a shirt trade I believe either in 95’ or in 01’ when I was touring with a band at the time. I can’t recall what he said about this shirt, but recently when a friend came over and we were going through my shirts, he said that Tim or someone from Mouthpiece made this shirt as a school project and ONLY 2 WERE MADE. That explains why honestly I have never seen anyone ever have this ….this is another template so to speak of hardcore history.
