My favorite Craig Mack story is about shirts, of course. This is either hearsay or something I may have read in a zine somewhere. It could also be a rumor that was passed down from one shirt nerd to the next … At some point, his older brother was getting out of the core, and some of his friends were headed out too. So they gave Craig a FEW trash bags full of tshirts. And not just some crap. Nah, these kids had been attending Anthrax shows during the peak. So he ended up getting this bag full of GEMS. Wishingwell, Schism, Chain Of Strength, Bold, … some real mind blowing stuff. Just crazy stuff. Maybe even a GB Better Than You tee … Can you imagine? I can’t. I wasn’t around during that time. I just found a shirt I wore the hell out of and it was a Bon Jovi autographed tour 89 tee. Yeah, and back then, it was real big on me. Sigh. One look that’ll never go out of style?
