Here’s a great Bane hood. No zipper deal, this is a Champion pull over hooded sweatshirt. These were released for the Bane 10th anniversary gig. And the seller has it right, not many of these were made. I think there may have been 2-3 boxes of them. Granted, that may sound like a lot. But consider this. These hoods were sold during a downstairs Palladium gig. That means every kid and their mother was there. Chances of finding a mint one still are very slim. I’m sure most others have been moshed out or skated through. I’m also guessing that poule518 is an old EVR employee. Or maybe the merch company that EVR regularly used back in 2007. Another funny note, I helped sell these hoods that day and while pulling them out of the box, I came across one hood that had no letters stuck to it. They fell right off when I picked it up. So the only thing separating it from a plain Champion hooded sweatshirt is the screen on the back shoulder. I’m a fan. Make sure to snag this one while it’s cheap. I’m contemplating picking it up as a back up, we’ll see.
No Tolerance For Leaves
It was beautiful outside yesterday. Great day for yard work, not so great for staying inside. So that’s what I did. Raked leaves, hung up some christmas lights (don’t worry, they won’t be turned on until at least Dec 01) and other yardwork. I asked Cushman to come over to help with ladder work. Melissa is not so good with ladders and watching people climb them. Cushman is a pro. This year I promised not to rain dirt down on him. It worked, he came over and lent a hand. I got all the leaves out of the gutter but suffered a pinch nerve. It sucks. What does this have to do with No Tolerance? Well, Cushman asked me to pick him up a No Tolerance shirt the other day and I now had the chance to hook him up with one. He also gave me a vegan peppermint cup so everyone one (except my nerve). Cushman already had the blue one, like jordandarby is selling. I got him a black one. He was stoked. Great band. I’m REALLY looking forward to that upcoming release. It can’t come soon enough if you ask me.
Look Alive
Weird. I definitely can’t recall ever seeing this Look Alive shirt before. Maybe Kenny or one of the dudes can fill me in on this one from jorakthrashon. I recall the white tee with blue and black ink, but not this one. Oddly, I cannot recall the Our Turn, Have Heart and Look Alive tour either. My memory is definitely slipping, more so than ever.
Quicksand, Orange 9mm, … L7 .. Sublime??
In all the years of big, big fests, I’ve only ever attended one. It was the Warped Tour back in 2005. And of course, it was only because Bane was playing. It was a super pain in the ass to get into the gig, but it was worth it for the experience. I’ve definitely never been to Lolapalooza, Woodstock or even Locapalooza (Worcester heads know what I’m talking about). But if I had, I would want to see L7, Sublime and No For An Answer. Not really, but I’d be into see Quicksand and Orange 9mm in a stupid big environment. I wonder what Wally thought of the gig? I’m guessing squanfan was into it. 1995. Wow.
