Figured Monday is as good a day as any to blast out some metal shirts, what with the alliterative potential and all, and sellers originalextendedversion are clearly happy to help me start it off right with these shirts from Manowar and Slayer, respectively…
Much as Manowar is one of my favorite guilty pleasures, a tie dyed Slayer shirt is going to beat them every time out, especially one that the band actually produced on their own.

Following up my Invasion post this morning, here’s a nod. Invasion used to be this band … now we’re playing Righteous Jams! Boston Straight Edge, Still On Top! I love the color of this shirt. Red with blue ink? Great look.
Def Jam rip off. Again, great color. If anyone has a Fred Perry polo in this color, hook me up. I’ve always been after a legit one in this color. Very crucial look.

I never really got this one. The design is WAY out there. I understand the whole concept of the “nail that sticks up gets hammered down,” but I’m not seeing that in this design. I do recall there was a big bin of Righteous Jams gear at 21 Mt Vernon for the longest time. Sadly, it was all XL or S. Biz As Uge.
Youth Of Today reunited back in 1999. To me, this was the kick off of the reunion season. Granted, that season has lasted over 10 years now. I’m sure Morgado was there. I skipped out. Stayed home. You’ve heard the story before, but Kid Dynamite reference??) has one up now with a BIN of $20. Seems like a no-brainer. EXCEPT it’s a navy tshirt. Boooooooo.
sharpieadict claims he is selling this tee because it’s too small, “too much lifting weights i guess??” We all know the REAL reason though (and no, it’s not because he misspelled addict). It’s because he’s been eating too much rice, like those dudes in japan. It happens. Rice is good. Basmati, jasmine, long grain, brown rice, sticky rice, coconut rice … I can hang. I’m not throwing stones here. I love rice. Lets just be honest, though, ok? If I had to guess, I would say this is a Ben P drawing. I like the LOC nod, but would prefer the actual LOC logo. Would be happy with a giant one on the back …
