If you know me (and I’m guessing after nearly 2000 posts on this board, that you do), you’ll know that I’m no grindcore fan. It’s just my bag. No disrespect to the genre, but I just can’t hang. Something about it never sits right with me. I’ve stumbled across Assuck before over the years and always wrote them off. Never investigated, never looked into them. Fuck. Bad move on my part. I seriously had no idea this band has been around since the late 80s. And that they stretched all the way to 1998. 11 years of grind. That’s an impressive feat. They get a lot of kudos from big names too. Maybe next time I’m digging through the used vinyl bin, I’ll have to snag one of these, give it a listen. For now, you can gaze at this tee from nyhcskin (GREAT ebay name) and reminisce.
I Just Want To Reiterate Something.
This auction from jev88?
As we pointed out last week, those pictures came these two auctions:
Now, I don’t want to disparage anybody or accuse anyone of anything. We all know what happened the last time I did that. But this is just so blatant. Does it mean he doesn’t actually have a TUI windbreaker to sell? I don’t know. But given how high the price jumped up last night, it’s something prospective bidders should definitely consider asking about.
Words of Wisdom: Justice Edition.
“In a couple years, when nobody gives a fuck about what I do because I’m a bum and I’ve wasted so much time doing hardcore music and wearin’ work boots when I don’t even work, I can show my kids a fuckin’ video that Sunny recorded and they can say “Dad you not that terrible I guess.”

Be True To Your Crew.
First things first, madballmarshall? Great eBay name. Second things second, the L.I.O.N Nike rip off hoodie? So rad, and a personal favorite.
The auction doesn’t say if this one has it, but the one I have tucked away somewhere has “Be True To Your Crew” across the back. Looks killer. Mine has gold foil though, not rainbow. I strangely find myself wishing it was the other way round, because the rainbow looks tight. But it’s all good. I got mine when DFJ (who was in L.I.O.N. at the time, despite living on the East Coast. A true hero, that man) and I did the TWS West Coast gig with Martin and Foster on guitar and bass, respectively. That gig would have never happened with out L.I.O.N; Andy did all the leg work setting things up and Martin as mentioned handled guitar duties. They tore it up hard that night too…

Alas, the TWS footage shot at this never surfaced, other than a brief 30 second snippet that used to be on youtube. Definitely bummed about that, I remember things as being nuts. Anyone who knows where I can get my hands on it… holler.
