At Best

When Bane played their 10th (1th) anniversary show, they came out with all sort of crazy merch. 3-4 tees, a couple of hoods, a crewneck sweatshirt, … lots of gear. One of the shirts featured the original demo which had been released 10 (11) years ago. It was an interesting color choice. The shirt was black with red and white ink. I recall at the time some dudes weren’t happy with it. Why? Because the demo was red with black ink. The obvious choice would have been to make red shirts and use black ink. Fast forward a few weeks and bam …

Causin’ More Trouble in 88. I Mean 09.

Seller x2fast2livex brings us one of the better rip off shirts that have been done in recent years, from a band that loves Breakdown so much that it would have been a shame for them to have never made this shirt. I mean, one could make a decent argument that without Floorpunch, Breakdown would still be at their late 90s/early 00s level of popularity with the youth.

Want to compare and contrast? The seller says it’s Porter causin’ the trouble, but I prefer to think it’s Cooper. And yes, before some wise ass brings it up in the comments, Porter called me up to sing Safe In A Crowd at the first FP reunion, and YES I blanked on the lyrics and made a fool of myself. I blame Hoodrack for not being up front when Mark started looking for someone to sing it.

Now let’s never speak of it again.

Adult Crash ’94.

It’s only because I like what txyoung666 is selling so much that I take the trouble to flip his sideways pictures. It’s a major pet peeve, but when the items in question include Leeway longsleeves, it’s just something that must be done for full appreciation.

I really don’t know how I feel about the front and sleeve prints. It’s got that 90s alternative rock style that I never particularly cared for, and it doesn’t really go with the back. Plus it’s maroon. Kind of feel like it would have to be worn with JNCOs and a headband. Maybe a Straight Edge Snapple rip off t-shirt underneath.

Thighs Like What What What

Don’t you wonder why Dumptruck never made a shirt like this? I honestly do. This seems right up Morgado’s alley. I suppose it might be too obvious or too cliche, but you’d think it would fit perfectly. DTA 2004. Also, does anyone else feel like the pictures by dylanxedge (you can thank me for rotating them for you later, Mr Edge) make this look like a Toxic Avenger tee? Weird. xTOXIC AVENGERx!!
