So you don’t like longsleeves. That’s weird, but I suppose I can understand it. There was a period in the mid 90s where I hated longsleeves. It was irrational. I have no good explanation for why. But at the time, this shirt would have spoken to me over that longsleeve we saw from yesterday. Apparently Burn season is over and we’re onto Orange 9mm season. Weird. Seems like a glut of tees lately. Grab this one from dancarcillosmoustache. I’m guessing it’ll go cheap.
Earth Crisis Mosh Hat
This auction has me rolling. The description is just … wrong. When thisdeadhorse says, “This was obtained a long time ago, a rare item that you will never find again!” what he means to say is “someone gave me this hat with a poorly sewn on Earth Crisis patch. Your best plan is to win this auction cheaply. Remove the patch, throw away the hat and sew the patch onto something cool.” That’d be more accurate. Hell, I can sew better than that.
THE HUNDREDS/CHAIN OF STRENGTH collab shirt
While I am not a fan of all the collaborations and mash up shirts, I really think that the hundreds and revelation put out a decent shirt here. Nothing too fancy, nothing too flashy just straight simple to the point. I think that a lot of brands and mashups just try too hard.
Bane Tour 1999
A few days back, I posted up a Bane Tour 98 longsleeve. Today we’ll see a few items from xchokeholdx who has the goods on Bane’s fall tour of 1999. First up is a wind jacket. These were the fucking rage in the late 90s. They fell off for a few years until Shipwreck, Have Heart, Verse, … until those bands brought them back big. Was anyone else doing wind jackets in 2003 or 2004? I don’t think so. Now they seem to be a staple again. Good for people who catch a draft easy, I suppose.
Next up is the tour tshirt. US Fall Tour September 16 – October 19 1999. We all know what went down on October 19, 1999. Cool shit. This tshirt came in a few colors. Brown, green, black? And it came on a hooded sweatshirt. At least a hunter green color. This particular tshirt happens to be one of the accidental limited press. You’ll notice the front screen has two ink colors. The back is supposed to have that too. There is another screen with a modern looking automatic weapon (I’ll leave it up to our readers to figure out the actual model. Not my area of expertise) in a tan ink. This one does NOT have that screen. Apparently about 2 dozen of these shirts made it out the door before someone noticed and started adding the 2nd screen. The mistake couldn’t be fixed because the 2nd screen goes UNDER the screen shown below.
Finally, we have a 7XL “tree” shirt from blockoutthesunclothing. This isn’t actually from the 99 tour. Or the 98 tour, or the 2008 tour. It’s obviously a shitty ass bootleg. It doesn’t even look remotely like the original tshirt. Fuck bootlegs. “you’ll find all the official band merch you could ever want at great prices and amazing offers!” Yeah, right. What a piece of shit.
