Run To The Hills

When I think quintessential metal, I always go with two bands: Metallica and Iron Maiden. These two bands just have it down for me. From the heavy riffs, to the band beefs, to the imagery. It just all works. I’m sure others would say differently especially true metal heads. I’ve always been a bit on the outside. Metal just isn’t my thing all the time. I’d rather listen to hardcore, you know? That message I can understand. Praying to satan or sacrificing goats just doesn’t resonate with me. It has no reflection on my life. With Maiden, I can look past all that shit. The whole vibe just pulls me in. If you are a Maiden fan, you may want to jump on this item. Two tickets to the Madison Square Garden gig. Make sure to peep the auction for some humorous quips.

If you can’t hang with the live event, may I suggest some tees instead? Dumb if you don’t get this patriotic maiden shirt. Seriously. Yes, I know Iron Maiden is from the UK. That’s ok. I’m sure Eddie is an American Patriot at heart.

Dumb if you don’t peep some of the backside_kickflip’s other auctions too. Lots of gems.

Ringer tees and baseball shirts. The 80s were a wild time!

Contest: Sound And Fury Trivia

Vintage Contest: Sound And Fury Trivia tee

Ok, folks. The time has come! We’re getting into the final stage of our grand Sound And Fury Fest promotion. Hopefully everyone has enjoyed the SAF flavored posts so far, now it’s time for FREE STUFF! All along we’ve been hinting at the “other” prize. Today is the day. The prize is a free 3 day pass to Sound And Fury. AND if you come up to the TeeTillDeath table during Sound And Fury, you’ll be handed MORE stuff. The “MORE stuff” is coming together right now, in fact. Expect some teasers on that in a few days.

But since this prize is a little above and beyond, we figured we would throw together some Sound And Fury trivia. To enter, answer as many of these questions as possible and shoot an email over to teetilldeath@gmail.com with the subject “saf trivia contest.” Whoever has the most correct answers wins a free pass. If there are multiple emails with the most right answers, we’ll pick one (perhaps the first, maybe random?). Since these questions aren’t for the faint of heart, we’re giving you a whole week to answer them (or cheat off your friends, it’s all good by us!). That means by July 14th at noon YOU could win a free 3 day pass to Sound And Fury Fest. Free Mosh Is The Best Mosh!

Now onto the questions.

1. Name the first band to play Sound And Fury ever.

2. Name the bands which Sound And Fury is their ONLY California show.

3. What bands played Sound And Fury as their “Last Show” gig?

4. In 2007, Eric Ozenne’s band played Sound And Fury. What was the name of this band and how were they listed on SAF flyers/posters?

5. What song did Have Heart play to open their headlining set at Sound And Fury 2007?

One other thing, if you already have your 3 day pass, feel free to enter. I get the feeling we’ll have some super limited items to give away … And if you are too lazy to use google, just leave a comment down below, and I’ll pick one winner for our “lazy” prize.

King Lebron

I know basketball season ended less than a month ago. You thought it was over. You thought we were done talking about it. Guess what? We’re not. Now that King Lebron is getting the royal treatment from EVERY NBA team, basketball is starting to heat up again! Good for us, bad for you? Only bad for you if you are not a fan of basketball or Uruguayan. Those guys are just bummed in general. Pssshhh.

Thankfully, d-flow-projekt brings the good that bring smiles to ALL faces. Check this slice of basketball jersey heaven. Lots of goods.

Agent Orange shirt

Ebay seller sk82dth has been unearthing some gems from his punk rock travels. Today’s feature is this awesome Agent Orange shirt. There is no way that I could put a time frame on this shirt, but I am guessing early 80’s.

Does anyone have any solid info on this one?
