dangerzone82 has a good one here. This is a Justice Road Crew tshirt. They were created for the US / Euro tour in 2004 with Mental. They only made enough of the “ROAD CREW” designs for members of each band and roadies. That means this one is quite limited. Sadly, I didn’t get to see many of those gigs as I was in the US. I’m pretty sure I saw the kick off gig. I’m also 99% certain that Jaybil roadied for that tour. I’m sure he has LOTS of great stories to tell on that one. But we’re keeping him busy with other projects … Just you wait!
Swing Kids shirt
First the automatic weapon shirt and now a Swing Kids shirt. Seller tsks666 is bringing you the heat.
This is a perfect example of mid 90’s design. This shirt actually looks decent, but I think it has more to do with the ink/shirt color combo than anything else. Lower right front print AND tramp stamp back print really freeze this shirt in time.
I actually don’t mind this shirt. I think it works here, even if it’s just the artwork from the 7″.
What is straight edge all about?
Sometimes in the real world, it is hard to explain to someone why you don’t drink. You either come off like a recovering alcoholic, or a prudie good shoes. If you wore this shirt all the time, I think people would get it.
Or at least stop asking dumb questions.
Fred Hammer
Do you know Fred Hammer? He’s an Oxnard hardcore staple. Dude has been around for years. He’s seen bands you’ve only dreamed of seeing. Bl’ast? Seen em. Dr Know? Seen em. Hi-Fi And The Roadrunners? Well, maybe. But who’s counting? Over the years, Fred has been taking pictures of countless bands, many from California, many from Oxnard. He took a bunch of those pictures and put them all together in a book, The Power Of Expression. I suggest you hit up revhq or amazon and grab a copy.
Thinking about In Control’s lyrics, Fred Hammer always comes to mind.
You can count on this I’ll be there for you
Cuz you’re my brother…Oxnard Crew
