Winter Tour 2003

Who here knows Lil Man? He’s pretty goofy, but I’ll give him this. When he’s at a show, he’s going hard 100% of the time. I’ve seen this kid get 3 concussions at shows. 3 different shows. No broken bones though. And usually, it’s while stage diving for one of his brother’s bands.

I can’t recall if I properly saw Desperate Measures on their 2003 tour. Did they cancel their appearance at the Hands Tied reunion show? That might have been POST winter tour, of course.

March 08, 2003 @El N Gee New London CT: Hands Tied (reunion), Damage Control, The First Step, Desperate Measures(??), Not A Chance (last show)

Did they play or am I dreaming that?

BURN shirt, the math just doesn’t add up

This shirt comes from the collection of nerveagent aka patrick166 aka Slavko. This is a precautionary tale. Consider yourself warned. Sometimes people have no issues. Other times, BIG issues. Everything from shill bids to shirts that don’t show up. Then again, some people have only ever had positive interactions. Like we say, the math just doesn’t add up.

Mindset Longsleeves

I love Mindset. And it appears four) short sleeves. This is a good thing for all of us. I don’t get to see Mindset often enough. And as far as I can recall, I’ve only seen them once. Like I said, not enough. Luckily, I got to hang with Mike a few months back. It was awesome.

Now these longsleeves are fucking amazing. Check them out. Lots of straight edge pride, lots of good looks. West Coast 2008 tour. Amazing. We can only hope they bring such awesome gear to Sound And Fury. Keep your fingers crossed.

We’re That Spic Band!

Do people still care about Los Crudos? I remember back in the day, they were THE band in the political hardcore scene. But maybe today, that scene doesn’t really exist. Is that the case? Back in the day, every bag at every show had at least one mention of Crudos (or Charles Bronson). Whether it was a patch or pin, it was there. Michigan Fest? Forget about it. You had to go OUT of your way to NOT see a Crudos mention. Do people still care about that message? Or is the current scene just about tight girl jeans and shitty facial piercings? I suppose I’d rather have some dude lecture me between songs than scream high pitched during songs. Maybe that’s just me.

As for this tshirt, I’m guessing it was probably one of the last tshirts the band did. They broke up in 98, this one is dated 98. Must have been toward the very end. Question: how makes Eastern Canada tour shirts? Who even tours Eastern Canada? Shout outs to Dave XXX and The St John’s Crew.
