Storming Through For Mom

Seller chimpanzeeacme comes through on this beautiful mother’s day (despite the cool temps). He’s coming hard with a wonderful gift for mom, this Judge Storming Through Tour 1990 tee. And over the years, it looks like it’s shrunk up so it’ll fit mom just right.

I don’t know about you, but my mom has no idea who Judge is. She’s down with Frank Zappa and Led Zeppelin, but ask her about Mike Judge, and she’s more likely to think of a daytime tv court room drama. All good, mom. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thanks for letting me go to all those shows in Portland with your car. And thanks for letting me drive to Westbrook during that insane snowstorm with the Explorer. I’m sure you didn’t know it was going to turn into a crazy snowstorm, but thanks for not wigging out on me when we got home super late (it was the snow, I SWEAR). And also, thanks for not losing your mind when I scratched the car after that Sam Black Church show. Whoops.

Happy Mother’s Day to any moms who read this blog. Enjoy.

Only The No Fun Remain

When Bane recorded Give Blood, we packed a bunch of dudes into a 15 passenger van and drove down to DC. At the time, I was just barely 25 so it was touch and go on whether I could rent it or not. We finally secured the vehicle, rounded everyone in Worcester up, and made the drive.

Lets see if I can remember everyone who made the trip (if I forgot anyone, let me know).

Cushman
Spaulding
Jeremy
Lou
Beshaw
Hudson
Tre
Big Bob
Myself

People I forgot. Whoops.

Great ride. I drove the whole way as the rental place wouldn’t have it any other way. Down and back. We broke out late at night and didn’t arrive in DC until the very morning. It was still too early for backup vocals so we hit the local indoor pool.

Not everyone brought shorts. In fact, Lou only had white boxes. Now if you don’t know Lou (from Barrit and The Swarm and …), he’s really, really, really brown. Wet white boxers + brown dude = many unhappy parents. He was asked politely by the pool staff to leave.

Not everyone was down for swimming and in van football. We called them “No Fun.” Cough … Tre … Cough. Lots of shenanigans went down in that van. Lots.

So we rolled back to the studio and were getting ready for backups. Of course, lots of horse play going on in the booth. LOTS.

At one point, Brian Mcternan (I bet you were wondering how’d I work Battery into this, weren’t you?) had to scold us a few times. He even singled Lou out for being too rambunctious.

“Cut it out, dude.”

“Whatever, Brian McDickhead.”

“You know I can hear you, right?”

LOL. These are the times we’ll remember!

Thrash

One of my favorite dudes and sellers is lkptpride. You may know him as Mike V’s assistant / friend / name brand dude. Or maybe you are old enough to recall him as Larry Rev. I know him as Mr Lockport, the lead singer of Larry Ransom’s Bust It!

Larry’s a dude, and a definite friend to teetilldeath.com. We’re fans.

And he brings it hard weekly with loads of rare Mike V gear. But this go around, he provides a few core related decks.

First up, the Terror skatedeck. BKS merch. Terror has done a lot of crazy gear in the past, but this is some of the good stuff.
