There are still no bids on that 1980 Ramones Tour shirt from yesterday, but this Cold As Life basketball jersey is already bid up to $25. Now I’m not saying that the jersey is not worth the $25(or the $75 it will eventually go for), just that the Ramones shirt is being overlooked and that bothers me for some reason.
Limited Pressing
We’ve been talking to Nick from LimitedPressing.com a lot lately. He’s got a ton of great ideas and suggestions. In fact, one of his suggestions kicked my ass into finishing a project I have been working on for a bit. But that’s coming in the future.
But since we like Nick and we are fans of LimitedPressing.com, he hooked us up with some insider info.
Check this news release.
Limited Pressing is proud to announce the complete redesign of their site including: a new store type for Ticket Selling, full color and CSS customization for all stores, integrated digital download system, as well as many other features. In honor of their relaunch, they’re offering our readers any store free for one year if you use the promo code TEETILLDEATH. Remember Limited Pressing webstores are more than just for selling products. They’re like a mini website. For instance a Label Store has music players, news that can be followed by any user, a dedicated discography section, as well as separate pages for all your bands. This is on top of Unlimited Product selling and management, which is currently offered no where on the Internet. The stores are free for 1 year so get over to the stores section(http://limitedpressing.com/stores) and pick one up. While you’re there, check out our feed in the Hoverboard (http://limitedpressing.com/hoverboard).
So there you have it. Go check it out. And if you want, you can see all our headlines in their new awesome hoverboard. Pretty chill.
Snapcase Isn’t Cool Anymore …
Growing up in Maine, we didn’t get a lot of “cool” gigs.
Bold never played Maine. Youth Of Today never played Maine … Granted, I would have only been 10 or 11 when they played.
But lots of cool bands never played Maine. We had Sam Black Church and Tree every weekend. Oddly, I don’t recall Murphy’s Law ever playing Maine.
So when “major” bands would come through, kids would come out in force. Such was the case on June 14, 1997.
June 14 1997 @Zootz Portland Maine: Snapcase, Cast Iron Hike, Eventide and Ground Zero
Kids were lined out of Zootz waiting for this gig. The moshing was intense (for Maine, mind you. Years later, I would see Madball play a Masonic Lodge in Cambridge, Mass. It was then that I learned what HARD moshing really was). The crowd went crazy. And when Snapcase played, the place blew up. They covered She by The Misfits. Dudes were stoked.
This particular shirt is an obvious Outspoken rip-off. “Straight Edge Isn’t Cool Anymore … So What?” Snapcase loved to make shows for one day events. I had a Hungry Charlies shirt somewhere. This one is dated June 18, 1995 with a Syracuse NY mention. We’ll have to get Guav or Buske to comment on the significance.

Baby Blue BURN shirt
This is without a doubt my favorite BURN shirt of all time. The way the ink color pops off the blue is amazing.
Perhaps it is the lack of other band shirts printed in these colors that really make this one appeal to me. I mean look at that !!
I expect this one to go to the triple digit mark as it usually does.
