They had that same shirt when I saw them here in 93. Great show. Dudes had been smoking H backstage and came out super amped, haha.
The show was at the New Loft, which was an all-ages teen center – so there were definitely a few middle schoolers there (some with their thirty-something punk parents, as always at these gigs). Madison’s scene for punk and hardcore was pretty awesome in the late 80s and early 90s, partly because of this venue. If I ever decide to sell my Strife shirt from when they played there in 94, I promise a real story with the listing (don’t have much of one for this shirt, really).
