When a lot like this hits ebay, do you think a flurry of emails are exchanged between the whole xStuckInThePastx crew? Do you think they work in conjunction to corner the market on mid 90s gear while keeping prices reasonable? Emailing each other to see who will bid and who won’t? That way it isn’t friend against friend ebay wars. That’s what I’d be doing if I was them. In fact, I’ve done it before. When that Bane LP test press hit ebay, I quickly contacted a few heads to see who was planning on taking it home. No sense in me fighting my friends over it. I knew it was going to go to 1 of 4 people: Myself, Tom Z, JNaidoo or Marcus Andrews. I consider these people my friends. And while I’ve never met Marcus, dude seems like a great egg. In the end, one of those 4 got it. And it was not me. Smart way to go. Maybe the xstuckinthepastx crew does the same when auctions like the one from nick666demons pop up. Who knows?
